10 Things a Jewish Person Should Know
A teachings that will bring you to a closer revelation of God.
God has a NEW covenant for the Jewish people.
31 “The day is coming,” says the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and Judah. 32 This covenant will not be like the one I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand and brought them out of the land of Egypt. They broke that covenant, though I loved them as a husband loves his wife,” says the Lord. Jeremiah 31:31-32 NLT
The bible declares that the Lord God, will make a new covenant with the people of Israel it will not be like the covenant He made with the Jewish ancestors when He took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke His covenant, though He was a husband to them, declares the Lord God.
33 “But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel after those days,” says the Lord. “I will put my instructions deep within them, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. 34 And they will not need to teach their neighbors, nor will they need to teach their relatives, saying, ‘You should know the Lord.’ For everyone, from the least to the greatest, will know me already,” says the Lord. “And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins.” 35 It is the Lord who provides the sun to light the day and the moon and stars to light the night, and who stirs the sea into roaring waves. His name is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, and this is what he says: 36 “I am as likely to reject my people Israel as I am to abolish the laws of nature!” Jeremiah 31:33-36 NLT
The bible declares that this is the NEW covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time, declares the Lord God.
I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts.
I will be their God,
And they will be my people.
No longer will they teach their neighbor,
Or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the Lord.
“For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.” This is what the Lord says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the Lord Almighty is his name: “Only if these decrees vanish from my sight,”declares the Lord God, “will Israel ever cease being a nation before me.”
25 “Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. Your filth will be washed away, and you will no longer worship idols. 26 And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. 27 And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations. Ezekiel 36:25-27 NLT
The Lord God, said that He will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; He will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. He will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And He will put His Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws and I will be your God.
When he speaks of a new covenant, he will make the first obsolete.
God is still alive and he can be found. Just ask Him?
37 Thus saith Jehovah: If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, then will I also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith Jehovah. Jeremiah 31:37 ASV
37 Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured , and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done , saith the LORD. Jeremiah 31:37 KJV
37 Thus says the LORD, "If the heavens above can be measured And the foundations of the earth searched out below, Then I will also cast off all the offspring of Israel For all that they have done,"declares the LORD. Jeremiah 31:37 NAS
37 This is what the LORD says: "Only if the heavens above can be measured and the foundations of the earth below be searched out will I reject all the descendants of Israel because of all they have done," declares the LORD. Jeremiah 31:37 NIV
The bible states, that as the heavens cannot be measured and the foundation of the earth cannot be explored, so He will not consider casting the descendants of Israel away forever for their sins. God will not reject the descendants of Israel BUT he desires that they grow in fellowship, in relationship with Him. The bible also invite all to call on Him and He will answer them, and He can show them great and mighty things, which they don’t know.
Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things , which thou knowest not. Jeremiah 33:3 KJV
1 While Jeremiah was still confined in the courtyard of the guard, the LORD God gave him this second message: 2 "The LORD God , the Maker of the heavens and earth -- the LORD God is his name -- says this: 3 Ask me and I will tell you some remarkable secrets about what is going to happen here. 4 For this is what the LORD God, the God of Israel, says: Though you have torn down the houses of this city and even the king's palace to get materials to strengthen the walls against the siege weapons of the enemy, 5 the Babylonians will still enter. The men of this city are already as good as dead, for I have determined to destroy them in my terrible anger. I have abandoned them because of all their wickedness." 6 "Nevertheless, the time will come when I will heal Jerusalem's damage and give her prosperity and peace. 7 I will restore the fortunes of Judah and Israel and rebuild their cities. 8 I will cleanse away their sins against me, and I will forgive all their sins of rebellion. 9 Then this city will bring me joy, glory, and honor before all the nations of the earth! The people of the world will see the good I do for my people and will tremble with awe!" Jeremiah 33:1-9 NLT
God desires to bring health and healing to the land (Isreal) that he has given to His covenanted people and the Jewish people. God desires to heal His covenanted people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security. He, God wants to cleanse them from all the sin they have committed against Him and will forgive all their sins of rebellion against Him. God is for His covenanted people, the Jewish people and His heart cry (desire of His Spirit) it to reconnect, commune, be in fellowship and to restore the relationship that He promised Hie servant Abraham to all and Abraham descendants. Call on Him in prayer. Call on Him and He will show you great and mighty things... Just call on Him.
God even went further and said, “For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back and I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back to the place (and to a place of the restored covenanted blessings that is for you before the covenant was broken) from which I carried you into exile." In short, God had rejected His covenanted people because they had broken His covenant but God WILL bring His covenanted people BACK in relationship with Him after the time of rejection has ended. The GOOD NEWS is ... the time of God’s rejection has ended. There is only one thing that remains... to be restored back into relationship with God. Call on Him and He will hear you and He can answer you. Just CALL!
11 For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 In those days when you pray, I will listen. 13 If you look for me in earnest, you will find me when you seek me. 14 I will be found by you," says the LORD. "I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and bring you home again to your own land." Jeremiah 29:10-14 NLT
